It has been a very busy week at the lodge. We had a full house and the clients were able to go to many of our fishing destinations. The fishing itself was once again awesome. This week we caught quite a few trophy sized fish, including the second biggest Lake Trout that we have ever caught in lodge history, congratulations to Sepp Risi for his impressive 115cm Trophy!
We would also like to welcome the following people into our trophy club; Seppi Schmidiger and his 104cm Lake Trout trophy, Martin Zumstein with his 107cm Lake Trout trophy, Umberto Rosso got a 100cm Lake Trout trophy and Josef Bollag got a Lake Trout trophy that was 106cm. Marc Robinet was able to land a Grayling trophy that was 49cm. We were able to land one Pike trophy this week again, congratulations to Umberto Rosso for his 103cm Pike.
The water levels are still low but it has not affected the fishing. We finally have been getting some rain so the conditions are not as dry anymore; clients were able to enjoy some shore lunches while out fishing for the day.
The salmon are here be the King salmon run is still slow.
Trolling has been excellent for Lake Trout and the Pike fishing is very productive.
Some of our guests got the chance to use our mountain biking equipment; they rode to a trail close to the lodge which brought them high up into the hills so they could get a breathtaking view of the lake, lodge and surrounding area.
Grayling fishing has been fantastic lately, not only did our clients land a trophy sized fish but they also caught many more close to that size.
Everything is going great here at the lodge and we are looking forward for the weeks to come.
