2019 - Week 31

Another beautiful week with no wind and perfect conditions.

Manuel Aeschbacher caught a 105 cm pike in our mountain lake, Nadine Isler toped it with a 106 cm pike from the big lake. Congratulations guys and welcome to the trophy club!

The newly rediscovered pike lake keeps on producing good numbers and big fish! Walter and Manuel caught more than 40 pike. Arnaud and Fatima also had a great trip to the same lake, caught pike up to 97 cm and some big lake trout as a bonus.

Grayiling fishing has been awesome all week long, we’ve seen lots of close to the trophy mark. Our guests are catching a lot of big lake trout in our home lake, either on ultra light spinning gear, small streamers or even nymphs.

Another big story this week: mushrooms!! We found a lot of beautiful King Bolete. We went mushroom picking several times this week. It never took us more than 30 minutes to harvest a big bag full! Not bad, considering that we only picked the small ones.

We had quite a few guests hiking, rafting, gold panning so it was not all that busy in the fishing department. The conditions were perfect for outdoor eco-adventures.

Everything is great here at the lodge!
