2018— Week 35

Our guests enjoyed an adventurous week, the weather stayed mostly nice with a couple days of rain and wind. In the morning you can certainly tell that it is August, on one of the mornings we even had -1 Celsius!

Fishing was outstanding, we have the pleasure of welcoming Julius Prueger to our 2018 Trophy club, he not only got one but two Trophies this week, he caught an amazing 50.5 cm Grayling and a 114 cm Pike!

We have been landing come beautiful Grayling these past few weeks.

Lake trout have been very active as well, they are moving into the river systems and our guests have been having a blast fly and cast fishing for them.

Fall is upon us in more then one way; the leaves are starting to change colour! It is not as beautiful as it is going to be, as fall progresses the mountains will turn into an amazing array of reds, yellows and oranges.

We did an outpost trip to our camp site way out in the middle of no where. At this destination we set up a tent camp on an island in the middle of the lake. This lake primarily Pike and our guests enjoyed none stop action. Because of its location there is quite a long travel to and from so most of our guests choose to stay closer to the lodge since fishing is just a good on our front step.

All in all, things are going great here at the lodge!
