2018— Week 24

Everything is Awesome as usual at the lodge this week, the warm weather is taking its time coming but that has not slowed down the fishing.

Pike fishing has been awesome; the fish are very aggressive and abundant. We have the pleasure of introducing a new member to our Pike Trophy Club; Clarence Scherich caught a huge 116cm Pike this week! Welcome to the Trophy Club Clarence!

Pike fishing was not the only highlight of this month; we have been catching more and more big lake trout that are big and healthy. Rainbow Trout and Grayling fishing in the rivers has been world class.

We did some of our first shore lunches this week; the guests enjoyed lake trout cooked over an open fire for lunch. At one of our more secluded lakes that is full of Dolly Varden the fish are bigger than they were in previous years. This is a lake that our guests can go to without a guide. Some of our long time clients and friend who have went there for many years came home very happy and excited about the change in the Dollys.

The forecast for the next few weeks is looking like warmer weather and more awesome fishing, if you have not book with us yet do so soon!
