Another summer is upon us and we are ready to go! The ice is off most of our fishing destinations and the fish are active.

We did quite a few improvements around the property this year including new boat ramps on the main lake, new lighting in the lodge and a new well house for the cabins. We added a couple new quads and a new truck to our equipment as well.

We opened a new destination that our first guests went to this week. They set up a camp on an island in the middle of the lake and were surrounded by the endless beauty of the Yukon. This new destination is a Pike heaven; the only way to get there is by ATV. The waters are still very cold so the fish are in the shallow.

So far we have been mainly fishing for Lake Trout and Pike; we should be landing the first Grayling right away. Our guides rode the ATV’s into Frederik Lake to set things up and plan for where to build the new cabins later in the year.

Things are looking good around here and we are looking forward to welcoming our old friends and new ones that will be arriving throughout the summer.
