Week 39, 2022

The last of our season came quick and what an amazing season we had! Beautiful weather, world class fishing, awesome guests, and employees. 2022 was our first year back to full swing and we are very thankful to say it was perfect!

Once again, the fish were biting like crazy. With the coming of fall the bigger trout came up from the deeper parts of the lakes and into the shallows where they were easily caught by both fly fishing and spin casting. Grayling fishing was top notch as always, same with Northern Pike.

We have the pleasure of welcoming a few more people to our trophy club:

Long time member, Carina Jager (104cm Lake Trout), John Jennings (101cm Lake Trout), Tim Drasler (109cm Lake Trout), Phillip R. (106 cm Pike), Heinz Summer (108cm Pike), Arno (113cm Pike) and Jonas (104cm Pike).

Congratulations on your catch!

The fall colours made hiking even more spectacular. Since the lodge is right on the edge of Kluane National Park we have access to a huge number of trails into the park. We also rented our canoe at St. Elias Lake a lot. This lake is deep in the park where we are the only people with a canoe, it is truly a gem and adventure to go there.

We are all very much looking forward to next year. All our staff were amazing and we are happy to say they all want to come back for another summer season. Thank you to all our guests and staff for the wonderful year! If you have not book for next year yet do so soon!
