2017— Week 33

Another week full of amazing weather and amazing fishing!

This week we have the privilege to welcome one new member to the Trophy Club. Rodolfo Brutti caught a beautiful Lake Trout Trophy that just made the mark at 100cm. Congratulations and welcome to the Trophy Club.

Grayling fishing was outstanding once again with many fishing being caught that were close to the Trophy mark.

We did not do any trips for Salmon fishing this week but are planning on going again next week.

The weather was so warm and beautiful that many guests were taking breaks from fishing to go out swimming in the lakes.

The Lake Trout are still very active with many nice sized fish landed. This is a great time of the year for the fly fishing enthusiasts as the rivers are low and clear and will stay in mint conditions right to the end of our season.

Fishing for Rainbow Trout was excellent as well and our guests landed several big Bows around 50 cm.

Our guests had successful hunts for King Boletus Mushrooms again this week; unfortunately with all the warm weather most of them were wormy and uneatable. Once we get some more rain there should be a fresh batch to go hunting for.

With all this beautiful weather our guests have had endless opportunity to get amazing picture of their visit to the Yukon. The wind calm and sunny days made for the perfect scenery. It looks like more nice weather and awesome fishing to come. All in all it has been a fantastic week!
