2017— Week 30

What a beautiful week compared to last week. The fishing was amazing and the weather was perfect! Nice sunny, warm days all week.

We get to welcome many people into the Trophy Club this week. Nadine Isler caught an amazing 109cm Lake Trout Trophy and her Grandpa Emile Isler caught a Lake Trout Trophy that was 101cm and a nice Grayling Trophy that measured 48cm. Joerg Fahle caught a Lake Trout Trophy that measured 105cm and Dieter Frantzen landed one that measured 107cm. Oliver Zinnker also caught a huge Lake Trout Trophy that was 108cm. Congratulations and welcome to the Trophy Club!

Besides all of the trophies many fish were caught that just missed the mark. Our guest landed many Lake Trout that were over 90 cm.

With the warm weather came a bit of wind as well. The mornings were mostly calm still and people were able to get out fly fishing.

Salmon fishing continued to be productive and many nice sized Kings were caught. At the end of the week Salmon fishing closed for retention but we were still able to go out and catch these awesome fish. We did not send anyone to the coast for Salmon fishing this week.

The Rainbow Trout were also active and our guests landed many nice fish up to 45 cm.

We are expecting the fishing for large Pike will slow down soon but for now they are still active.
